It takes a lot of confidence to be this ridiculous.
Like so many others, I am still digesting the death of Sandra Bland, one of the latest victims of institutional racism and police brutality in the USA. Like so many others, I have found myself in a constant state of mourning black bodies. I’ve read the news reports and countless think-pieces and all the musings on social media. I have finally been able to put pen to paper and share my feelings. Mostly, I’m weary. Mostly, I’m tired. Mostly, I understand that Sandra could have been me.
“We are many
“They are few
“Why do they do what they do.”
